Albuquerque, NM Full-time $150,000.00 - $200,000.00Posted 11/14/2024Principal Antenna Design EngineerPosition Overview The Principal Antenna Design Engineer will lead the design and development of advanced antenna systems, driving innovation and ensuring the highest performance in RF applications. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of complex antenna systems using advanced simulation tools.Conduct RF measurements and data processing to ensure antenna performance meets specifications.Manage antenna test facilities, including anechoic chambers and reverberation chambers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna systems into larger projects.Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership within the design team.Utilize software tools such as HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, and Matlab for simulations and design validation.Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate the performance of antenna systems.QualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in antenna design and RF engineering.Proficient in HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, PSpice, Keysight ADS, Matlab, and Python.Strong knowledge of Electromagnetic Theory and RF measurement data-processing.Experience with antenna test facilities and complex antenna system design.Excellent leadership and communication skills.BenefitsFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
