Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 1 year required. First-time travelers permitted. License: Valid license in hand required prior to submission. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required - Experience with EPIC preferred Job Description: - Work 3x12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday. - Participate in on-call duties as needed. - Float to different departments, particularly during COVID surges. - Handle a patient population consisting of adults and geriatrics. - Perform tasks like scrub and EKG monitoring, and handle procedures such as balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and left and right heart catheterization. - Use EPIC- CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring. - Conduct invasive cath procedures with 25-35 procedures per day. - Involve in cardiac interventions and adjunct therapies related to cardiac intervention, such as atherectomy, Impella, IABP, ACIST, OCT, LHC, RHC, swan, IVUS, Angioget, and radial/ulnar/femoral access. - Work in the EP lab with devices/ablation, EP study, and PV lab with fistula, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, thrombectomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and conscious sedation. - Diagnose conditions like coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias, irregular rhythms, and abnormal electrical function of the heart. Additional Information: - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with exemptions for medical/religious reasons. - All travelers are subject to floating to any campus if needed. - Modules required during orientation, averaging 2-4 hours, with tasks unit-based.
