Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), Monday - Friday Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. First-time travelers are welcome. License: License in hand required upon submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required Must-Have: EPIC experience preferred Job Description: - Perform scrub and EKG responsibilities in the Cath Lab. - Assist with procedures including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, rotablation, and more. - Handle invasive cath procedures, cardiac interventions, and adjunct therapies related to cardiac intervention. - Work with tools and devices such as CSI atherectomy, IMPELLA, IABP, ACIST, OCT, LHC, RHC, Swan, IVUS, AngioJet, and manage radial, ulnar, and femoral access. - Participate in EP lab activities including devices, ablation, and EP study. - Assist in PV lab with procedures such as fistula, A/O LE runoff, pedal access, thrombectomy, and hemodynamic monitoring. - Provide conscious sedation and support for patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, irregular rhythms, and abnormal electrical function of the heart. - Utilize EPIC- CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring. - Be prepared to float to any required campus if needed. - COVID-19 and flu vaccines are mandatory, with medical or religious exemptions only. - Education verification through a third party is required. - Complete non-billable modules during orientation.
