Travel Nurse RN - Oncology in Tulsa, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience in Women's health and Med/Surg Oncology. Experience with GYN and Onc patients preferred. License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience with non-invasive airway management - Experience with peripheral line care/management - Experience in isolation precautions/PPE usage - Familiarity with rapid response team activation Job Description: - Manage O2 protocol and non-invasive airway management - Perform peripheral line care and management - Adhere to isolation precautions and proper PPE usage - Utilize computerized documentation efficiently - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6-8 - Activate rapid response team when necessary - Provide care in a Med/Surg unit specializing in central lines, ports, and drains - Experience with both GYN and oncology patients is needed - Pediatrics experience not required due to a very small pediatric population - Expected to float to similar units within scope based on facility needs - Participate in orientation and complete required modules onsite during orientation Additional Information: - Scrub Color: Black/Navy - Modules are billable, average 4-6 hours for RN, completed onsite during orientation and recorded via transcripts
