Travel Nurse RN - Oncology in Tulsa, OK

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology (Women's Health - Obstetrics & Gynecology) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Women's Health and Med/Surg Oncology. Needs experience with GYN and Oncology patients. License: Valid RN license or Compact RN license. Certifications: None required Must-Have: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Job Description: - Manage O2 protocol - Provide non-invasive airway management - Perform peripheral line care/management - Adhere to isolation precautions and proper use of PPE - Document care using computerized systems - Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6-8 - Activate rapid response team as needed - Care for central lines, ports, and drains - Floating to like units may be required based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided - Complete mandatory modules onsite during orientation (4-6 hours for nurses) Additional Information: - Scrub Color: Black/Navy - Pediatric experience is not required; pediatric patients are a very small population in this unit.
