Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00-18:30 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RT Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Adult Critical Care Experience Job Description: - Fulfill on-call requirements. - Participate in 12-hour shifts as part of a rotating schedule over four-week periods. - Provide ventilator management, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen device management. - Perform arterial blood gas punctures and nebulizer treatments. - Manage various oxygen devices effectively. - Utilize AVEA/PB 840 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high flow, and Vapotherm high flow equipment. - Ensure efficient documentation and patient management using an EMR system. - Demonstrate teamwork, maintain a positive attitude, and adhere to directives. - Comply with the dress code by wearing solid navy blue scrubs. - Familiarize yourself with unit policies and guidelines, including attendance and scheduling policies. - Benefit from high employee engagement with experienced staff and new technology.
