Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Oregon City, OR

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1-year experience required unless specified otherwise License: OR license required, submission possible if pending Certifications: EPIC charting experience required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) of total employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting. Job Description: - Labor and Delivery RN position with a focus on professional care in a short-term acute care facility. - Expect ratios of 1:1 during labor and 1:3 postpartum. - Weekend work is required every other or every third weekend. - Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours. - Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. - May be required to float between sister facilities, and refusal to float may result in termination. - Dress code allows any color scrubs; specific departments provide scrubs. - Flu vaccine status is unknown, while COVID-19 vaccine is not required. - Travel compliance policies apply, including a distance rule and role flexibility. - Completion of non-billable modules, average 16 hours, pre-start and annually. This position is ideal for first-time travelers who have 2 years of experience and will not be required to float between units. On-call duties are not required.
