Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Oregon City, OR

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 year required, 2 years preferred License: Requires an active nursing license; can submit with it pending Certifications: L&D training required Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Job Description: - The position does not require floating between units. - On-call duties are not necessary for this role. - Working every other weekend is mandatory. - Must be flexible to work three out of the five major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. - The expected nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 for labor and 1:3 for postpartum care. - Completion of orientation consists of 40 hours, non-billable. - Pre-start modules are required and non-billable, averaging 16 hours. - Candidates may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. - Requires a minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment in the past three years within a comparable specialty/setting. - Compliance with COVID-19 vaccine is not mandatory; flu vaccine requirement is unknown. - Returning staff must have a gap of at least three months between permanent and travel assignments. - All RTO or specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-submittal requests may not be considered. - Required provided scrub colors for specific departments include OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child. Otherwise, any color is acceptable. - Provides necessary communication devices during assignments if needed, with reimbursement guidelines in place for personal device use.
