Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Lakeport, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2 years of Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Antepartum, Circulate OR experience License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: - Epic experience preferred Job Description: - Provide direct care to patients by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Address the physical, psycho-social, safety, rehabilitative, and learning needs of patients and their families. - Collaborate with nursing peers, co-workers, attending physicians, and allied support services. - Manage the care of assigned patients and direct the activities of ancillary staff. - Weekend rotation is required with no on-call requirement. - Orientation consists of 16 hours and modules are completed during this period; module hours vary by specialty. Please note that applicants must be ready for lab work soon after signing. Nurses must be aware of the 50-mile travel requirement and be informed about the lower rate for locals. Return staff must have been away for 1 year to return as a traveler. Additional Information: At least one holiday time off will be approved.
