Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: - ACLS Certification - Experience in high-risk labor and delivery Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during the labor and delivery process. - Monitor the mother and fetus's health before, during, and after the labor process. - Administer medications and perform medical interventions as necessary. - Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes. - Utilize advanced neonatal resuscitation skills in high-risk scenarios. - Document and communicate patient status and care plans effectively. - Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families. - Adapt to varying levels of patient acuity and swiftly respond to emergencies. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field. - Over five years of recent experience in labor and delivery. - Significant experience in high-risk obstetrics.
