Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM - 40 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: - Minimum 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery. - Preferred: Five years plus recent experience within the last two years in Labor and Delivery. - High-risk labor and delivery experience preferred. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - ACLS Must-Have: Winter Plan Need: Yes Job Description: - Provide advanced nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery. - Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, and overall well-being of mother and child throughout the labor process. - Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. - Educate and support expectant mothers and families regarding labor processes and postpartum care. - Exhibit proficiency in managing complex, high-risk obstetric cases and emergencies. - Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to best practices in maternal-child health. - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards to deliver high-quality patient care.
