Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: - ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Monitor patient progress and document changes in patient conditions. - Educate patients and their families on health status, treatment plans, and expectations during labor and delivery. - Manage and respond quickly to changes in patient conditions. - Utilize advanced neonatal resuscitation skills in high-risk deliveries. - Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in maternity and childbirth care. - Work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and safety.
