Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Santa Clara, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health (MCH) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (Critical Need) Job Duration: 12 months Shift: 12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery preferred. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: ACLS certification Job Description: - Provide nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery. - Monitor fetal heartbeat and mother's vital signs during labor. - Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. - Communicate with physicians and healthcare team members regarding patient conditions. - Provide supportive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum processes. - Educate patients and their families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care. - Document patient care services accurately and timely. - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. - Preferred candidates with a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. - High-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years is advantageous.
