Travel Nurse RN - NICU in San Francisco, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1 Year of experience required License: CA License required Certifications: BLS, NRP (All certifications must be AHA and in hand at the time of submission) Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Job Description: - Work in a Level III NICU, providing care for patients starting at 23 weeks of gestation and up. - Involve in surgical procedures, cooling, and managing all respiratory modes. - Administer treatments such as PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, swallow studies, and line insert. - Shifts are 3 x 12-hour days from 07:00 to 19:30. - No on-call required; must work every other weekend and potentially float to pediatrics, PICU, or nursery. - Complete 16 hours of non-billable orientation. - Modules completed during orientation, with hours varying by specialty through e-learning. - Must comply with travel requirements, including a valid state license and adherence to distance requirements for local applicants. - Return staff policy requires a minimum of one year gone to return as a traveler.
