Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: 1 Year of experience required License: CA License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Job Description: - Work in a Level III NICU setting with surgical cases and patients aged from 23 weeks onward. - Handle cooling treatments and all respiratory modes. - Perform procedures such as PICC, bronchoscopy, LISA, VCUG, MRI, and swallow studies. - Insert lines and conduct related NICU tasks. - Work schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30. - No on-call requirement; every other weekend shift required. - May float to pediatric, PICU, or nursery units as needed. Additional Information: - Requires completion of modules during orientation, averaging 1-5 hours, with additional module hours subject to specifics of the NICU specialty. - Completion of orientation includes 16 non-billable hours. - Return staff must be gone for one year prior to returning in a traveler role. - Applicants must be prepared for potential lab work within a few days of signing an agreement. - All certifications must be from the American Heart Association and provided at submission.
