The Point Casino and Hotel is looking for a Compliance and Safety Specialist to join its administrative team! The Compliance and Safety Specialist will assist the Compliance and Safety Manager in overseeing the Point Casino & Hotel's Compliance Program and Safety Program, functioning as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues/concerns within the organization. This person assists in ensuring employees of The Point Casino & Hotel comply with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies and the company policies and procedures. Additionally, the Compliance and Safety Associate assists to ensure that the casinos safety goals and objectives are adequate and on track for success. How You'll Make an Impact: Audit CTR documents, and/or reports, and review summary data to ensure all recordable and reportable cash transactions have been captured accurately by all sources. Reviews documents for Currency Transaction Reports, Suspicious Activity Reports, and other necessary reports required for Title 31 purposes. Reviews MTLs received by Revenue Audit Department to ensure there are no insufficiencies. Assists in monitoring the effectiveness of the Compliance Program and related activities on a continuous basis, and takes appropriate steps to improve, as directed by Compliance and Safety Manager. Assist in coordinating the scheduling of trainings, appraisals, inspections and drills to ensure they are carried out on an adequate rotation schedule, under necessary guidelines and conditions. What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Minimum one (1) year experience performing the same or similar job duties preferred. Must have basic knowledge of Anti Money Laundering (AML) laws. Must have excellent computer skills (experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and various gaming related accounting systems). Ability to qualify for a Gaming License issued by the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe upon hire.
