Reporting to the Coordinator: Emergency Services & Security (ESSC), you will be responsible for assisting ESSC in the delivery of company operational and commercial targets in a safe, productive & efficient manner by delivering a comprehensive emergency response & security service to the site.

This role is offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, back-to-back with the ESSC. Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
Demonstrate and maintain a sound level of knowledge and understanding of the underground & surface mining operations, haulage mineral processing and shared use infrastructure to enable a strong understanding of the risks associated with known and potential emergency response scenarios and activities at Agnew.
Contribute to the delivery of a qualified emergency response service by partaking in training and real-life accidents/emergencies taking direction from delegated personnel.
Develop external relationships and agreements for mutual aid in an emergency response situation.
Support the ESSC in updating and training of Emergency Crisis and Emergency Management processes on site.
Support the Emergency Response Department in the development of routine ERT skills training, first aid, skills maintenance training and ERT field scenario training for the Emergency Response Team.
Support the Site Medical team to provide professional First Aid / Pre-Hospital care service for the site inclusive of business partners, with the medical assessment and appropriate minor treatment of personnel, whilst consulting with Injury Management on applicable cases.
Deliver the site security management plan, including searches, inspections, gatehouse duties, and CCTV monitoring as required.
Support the ESSC with preparation and participation in audits (internal and external).
About you:
Cert III in Emergency Response & Rescue
Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance) minimum; Diploma of Emergency Health Care desirable
HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drug of abuse testing.
Possess a valid manual driver’s licence.
Certificate II in Security (Operations) or higher is desirable.
Experience with software applications; Gallagher, INX, Indigo Vision, Hikivision, Best Practice.
Experience in supervising and mentoring emergency response teams.
