Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of prior Oncology RN experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Oncology Nursing Society/Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONS/ONCC) required Must-Have: Epic charting experience required, First-time travelers accepted Job Description: - Provide patient care in an Oncology Unit with empathy and precision, managing treatment plans, and administering chemotherapy. - Comply with all healthcare regulations and ensure mandatory vaccines are administered, including the flu vaccine (medical/religious exemptions only). - Adhere to the schedule comprising 12-hour day shifts, ensuring patient needs are consistently met during your shift. - Participate in an orientation comprising 24 hours, where you will complete any necessary modules. - Wear navy blue scrubs as part of the uniform requirement. - Request up to five non-consecutive days off granted by management, with one holiday off allowed during Nov-Jan. - Complete all pre-start modules, which will be followed up during orientation if necessary. - Maintain current certifications and update any required training annually.
