About the Role:
The Program Management Office (PMO) ensures the successful execution of key cross-functional initiatives of the company through effective program management. The PMO also supports activities that drive the reporting and interdepartmental review of business performance through quarterly reviews and objectives and key results (OKR) dashboards. The PMO establishes guidelines and best practices for managing programs in the company through a Center of Excellence model. It also establishes a program management community within PitchBook that allows program managers across the company to collaborate, learn, and share execution best practices. The PMO also provides visibility into the performance of strategic initiatives and plays an important role in the strategic planning processes of the company.
The Associate Program Manager supports key Enterprise Business Operations activities such as monthly and quarterly business reviews, company OKR tracking, and enterprise-level performance reporting of initiatives. This role is responsible for building and publishing metrics-based reports for PitchBook leaders that are also shared with our parent company Morningstar. The Associate Program Manager helps drive requirements, define metrics, and works with various subject matter experts in the company to build automated dashboards and other performance reporting tools.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Manage data collection, publishing, and cadence of the monthly and quarterly business review process as well as the PitchBook OKR process. Coordinate internally and with stakeholders at Morningstar deliverables from PitchBook for monthly business reviews and quarterly OKRs. Publish the weekly status update for key initiatives in the enterprise portfolio while ensuring accuracy of data and timely updates by various program managers that lead the initiatives. Own the publishing and maintenance of PMO and business review information within PitchBook's intranet. Drive requirements and implement updates for automated dashboards. Publish weekly and monthly an executive leader report. Manage the data gathering of OKR and metric information for tracking, reporting, and monitoring. Support the Chief Business Operations Officer and VP, PMO on projects that will build out an ecosystem for metric-based reviews and decision-making at PitchBook. Support the strategic planning process led by the PMO department. Work with PMO and other PitchBook program management leaders to design and maintain the quarterly funding and quarterly roadmap alignment meetings for all PitchBook departments. Maintain the intake process, manage requests, and summarize quarterly funding prioritization. Co-create and maintain assets for the PMO Center of Excellence (COE). These assets are templates, best practices, and process guidelines for program management at PitchBook that are designed by SME at PitchBook. Build out the business review process on the Den, documenting best practices and creating a playbook. Co-coordinate center-of-excellence working sessions and check-ins to review the health and evolution of program management in the company. Support center-of-excellence leaders to drive the adoption of PM best practices by various teams at PitchBook that use Program Management. Bring teams together, organize tasks required in a project plan and ensure completion through timely follow-up and escalation. Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors. Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of professional work experience with 1+ years of project/program management or Business analysis. Proven business analysis skills and the ability to write business requirements. Understands business metrics and data-driven analysis. Experience with managing projects and programs that require orchestration of work for a team. Operate with a strong sense of urgency and deliver results. A good understanding of program management fundamentals. Self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude, and can work effectively as an individual or as part of a team. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills; comfortable to engage a diverse array of audiences. Able to work across multiple teams and stakeholders, build strong trusted relationships, and lead through influence. Able to problem solve and use judgment to make decisions within ambiguous situations. Hands-on knowledge of a Project management tool and the ability to communicate to a virtual globally dispersed audience via Zoom. Able to effectively communicate with local and international teams in a multicultural setting both in person, in writing, and via Zoom video calls. Interest in financial markets or services, particularly private equity and venture capital. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily.

Compensation
Annual base salary: $80,000-$105,000. Target annual bonus percentage: 10%.
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.
Working Conditions:
We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 4+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an ongoing basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
