LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Administrative Professional for a growing client in the Westerville, OH area. The Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable, processing payroll, and performing general administrative duties. This position requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $55K and $70K annually.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Administrative Professional for a growing client in the Westerville, OH area. The Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable, processing payroll, and performing general administrative duties. This position requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $55K and $70K annually.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage vendor relationships.
- Process bi-weekly or monthly in-house payroll for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and handle payroll-related inquiries.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and records.
- Provide support for audits and financial reporting.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting department.
- Provide general office support with ordering office supplies and lunches when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher is preferred but not guaranteed.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll and general clerical office duties
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
