About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) to provide strategic leadership for its HR functions and services. The CHRO will be a key advisor and partner to the executive leadership team, managing HR for the company and its various small agencies, boards, and commissions. This role is pivotal in aligning HR systems with the company's goals, advocating for equity and inclusivity, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the HR division's strategic plan, overseeing all HR functions, and championing a culture of belonging, respect, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for the CHRO position at the company will have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive HR leadership experience, with a strong background in all HR functions, including DEI integration. They should possess visionary leadership, analytical and strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of DEI principles. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in change management, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to ethical judgment and integrity. The CHRO will also be responsible for talent management, policy development, and executive representation on statewide HR matters. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a preference for a Master's degree and relevant HR and DEI certifications.
