Summary:
The Product Owner, Data Platform is responsible for the strategic vision, development, and execution of the data platform strategy. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets business needs and drives data-driven decision-making.

Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the data platform, ensuring alignment with business goals. Lead the development and enhancement of the data platform, leveraging Snowflake's capabilities to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions. Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance. Implement and maintain data lineage practices to track data flow and transformations across the platform. Develop and oversee data quality frameworks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data. Identify and implement strategies to maximize the return on investment (ROI) from data initiatives, demonstrating the value and impact of data-driven decisions. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, data scientists, and engineers, to gather requirements and prioritize features. Develop and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements. Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance and impact of the data platform, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring the best use of Snowflake and other data technologies. Qualifications:
Formal Education & Certification:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent work experience. Product Owner (CSPO/PSPO) and Data Management Professional (CDMP) certifications Knowledge & Experience:
7 years experience with data platforms within the financial services industry, credit unions preferred. 5 years product management experience Experience with Snowflake and its ecosystem, including data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration. Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong project management skills. Personal Attributes:
Strong customer service orientation. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Strong interpersonal, presentation oral communication skills. Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
