This temporary position is a Home based position with the home office located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $25.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is a Home based position. The Administrative Associate II provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of teams under the Deputy Director for Child Welfare. Required abilities include answering phone calls, typing, scanning, emails, processing mail, preparation of communications (such as invoices, reports, and other correspondence), ability to create and maintain an array of reports, and any other assigned duties.Must be able to create and manage Excel spreadsheets and prepare data analysis. Proficient knowledge and experience using MicrosoftÒ Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and Access is required; Including ability to troubleshoot computer and other electronic devices used in the workplace. Ability to demonstrate and apply that knowledge in performance and administrative tasks, ability to explain and interpret information to client/customers, staff, and a wide variety of stakeholders in a collaborative manner. Knowledge and ability to use correct grammar, vocabulary, spelling, ability to read and proofread written correspondence. Experience in organizing, planning, establishing priorities, carrying out objectives and adhere to work plans and deadlines that maintain flexibility and modify plans when needed as well as develop practice guidance and materials and when needed. Bachelors degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associates degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
