Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA (Hybrid). You will lead package integration and architecture efforts, working with internal teams and external partners.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Design Engineer job responsibilities include:

Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to design and integrate packaging solutions.
Developing and implementing innovative packaging solutions that enhance hardware performance.
Working with third-party and OSAT partners to bring packaging solutions from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
Promoting and incorporating new technologies to improve hardware performance and user experience.
Applying dynamic thinking to solve complex design challenges and adapting quickly to new technical areas.
Influencing industry trends through the development of advanced packaging specifications and solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product design or packaging engineering.
Proven experience with 3D design and package integration for hardware products.
Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing (HVM) processes and working with third-party partners.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $57.00 per hour
