Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Product Design Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Cupertino, CA. You will lead package integration and architecture efforts, working with internal teams and external partners.

Rate Range: $52/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Design Engineer job responsibilities include:

Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to design and integrate packaging solutions.
Bringing packaging solutions from concept to high-volume manufacturing (HVM) while driving innovation and industry standards.
Applying creativity and dynamic thinking to solve complex design challenges and improve hardware performance.
Working with third-party vendors and OSAT to ensure efficient packaging solutions and production processes.
Leading efforts to develop and promote advanced package specifications within the industry.
Quickly learning and adapting to emerging technologies to improve product design and performance.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in product design, packaging integration, or a similar engineering role.
Strong experience in packaging solutions, from concept to high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
Proven ability to work with 3rd party vendors and OSAT, driving industry standards and specifications.

Pay Details: $52.00 to $57.00 per hour
