We are looking for a Product Marketing Director to lead our Product Marketing function and manage a team of Product Marketers. This person will work closely with our sales and marketing teams in New York as well as our product and engineering teams in Israel. The ideal candidate is familiar with the needs and wants of Financial Advisors in both an RIA and Broker-Dealer model. This position reports to the Chief Business Officer and is hybrid in our NYC office.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy to drive awareness and adoption for Pontera across all of our audiences; Ground decisions and recommendations in a key understanding of data and revenue opportunity
- Become an expert on our products, the market, and our customers in order to articulate product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
- Own the customer and market research agenda; Identify key customer segments and develop personas and be the voice of the customer
- Plan and execute product launches, nailing our target audience, messaging, channel strategy, and measurement
- Increase product adoption and customer growth by collaborating with Marketing, Product, Sales, Client Experience, and analytics to influence product roadmaps and improve sales win rates and improve feature usage
- Collaborate with analytics and product to understand to look for opportunities to increase funnel throughput
- Develop and nurture a high-performing Product Marketing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
- Set up the foundation and ways of working for the Product Marketing team to operate efficiently and scale successfully
- 10-15 years product marketing experience with at least 5 years management experience
- Wealth Management or Financial Services experience and/or experience working with Financial Advisors (RIA model) - need at least one of these three
- Proven track record of successfully launching complex products or features in a B2B and/or B2C environment, including planning, execution, and post-launch. Also skilled with strategic planning / prioritization of launches.
- Nice to have: Retirement product knowledge; understanding of 401(k)s, IRAs
- Nice to have: Someone who has worked in big and small organizations and is able to translate best practices into effective processes for our unique organization
- Nice to have: has worked in a B2B SaaS environment
- Compensation: $190,000 to $220,000 annually
