Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve sustainability.
- Utilizing CAD/CAM, ESPRIT, CNC, mills, lathes, Swiss lathe, horizontal or vertical, ISO, SolidWorks, Mastercam, machining, and machinist skills to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful production of high-quality products.
- Analyzing manufacturing data to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Ensuring all manufacturing processes and procedures comply with ISO standards.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.
- Troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and production issues.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest manufacturing technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role in the energy industry.
- Proven experience with CAD/CAM, ESPRIT, CNC, mills, lathes, Swiss lathe, horizontal or vertical, ISO, SolidWorks, Mastercam, machining, and machinist.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and technology.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and compliance.
