Responsibilities:
Within the spirit of "Making Us America’s Healthiest Hometown", work directly with Manager, FP&A / Managed Care Operations by providing meaningful and useful operational data to Executive Leadership via reporting packages, metrics and dashboards. The Operations Analyst will assist the Manager, FP&A / Managed Care Operations with working with operations leaders within the organization to determine the reporting needs of each area.
Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Create, develop and maintain financial metrics, operational metrics, and dashboards with guidance from Manager, FP&A / Managed Care Operations
- Work with company practice management system to run necessary reports for metric reporting purposes
- Communicate with operational teams in order to meet their data and reporting needs.
- Work with Medicare Advantage membership files to produce panel reports, capacity reporting and other Medicare Advantage membership reporting.
- Involved with preparation of the annual budget and related reporting
- Assist Manager, FP&A / Managed Care Operations with preparation of monthly operations reporting and monthly board packages
- Work with various departments such as Medical Economics to develop and meet adhoc reporting needs.
- Maintain knowledge of current healthcare trends by reading appropriate literature and attending related seminars
- Other duties as assigned or approved by Manager, FP&A / Managed Care Operations
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Health Care Administration is required.
- Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel.
- Recent graduate to 2 years of applicable experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience is desirable.
- SQL and/or PowerBI experience is desirable.
- Candidate must be able to manage multiple requests and changing priorities.
- Proven experience as a self-starter who can meet provided deadlines is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication are required for presentations and other communications with all levels of management.
- Communicate and present complex information in a clear, easy to understand manner.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals.
- Strong analytical ability for solving complex organizational and departmental issues.
- Proven ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendation from multi-faceted and often ambiguous data.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
