ProCare Therapy is offering a contract position for a Social Worker in our school district! This will be an on-site, full-time contract position! Our school in Sterling, IL serves a vibrant community of general education and special education elementary students. Our mission is to foster a supportive and enriching environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker to join our team and contribute to our students' well-being and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to support their social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Implement and support Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to address student needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans to support students mental health and academic success.
• Help students with crisis interventions as needed

Qualifications:

• Masters in Social Work with PEL endorsement preferred. The districtis willing to work with candidates interested in pursuing their PEL endorsement.
• Experience in a clinical or school-based setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with Elementary-aged students is preferred but not required.
