Caseload: Elementary & Preschool Students

Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a Full-Time School Social Worker to support elementary students and the District-Wide Preschool Program in Berkeley, IL for the 2024-2025 school year. The position is full-time, with the social worker providing critical counseling and support services to students across both elementary and preschool settings.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a Master's degree in Social Work and a valid PEL certification. The school social worker will be expected to deliver high-quality services to help students overcome emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students in elementary and preschool settings.
• Collaborate with educators and families to implement behavioral interventions and support academic success.
• Conduct social-emotional assessments and support students with disabilities as part of their IEP goals.
• Connect families to community resources and provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings and ensure student needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work.
• PEL certification required.
• Experience working with young children in a school setting is preferred.
