Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Full-time

Job Overview:
We are seeking a School Social Worker to join a welcoming and supportive school community in Berwyn, IL. This full-time role will serve students in 1st through 5th grade, including both self-contained and general education classrooms. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling and emotional support to elementary-aged students.
• Work with teachers and parents to support students social and emotional needs.
• Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavioral management.
• Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for intervention strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree or higher in Social Work.
• Licensed as a School Social Worker (SSW) in Illinois.
• Must hold a valid PEL (Professional Educator License).
• Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred but not required.
