The AP Technology Deployment department is looking two Senior Engineers to deliver the AP300 product development project. This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity. Your Day-to-Day: The project engineers will report to the AP300 Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follows: Work with support of Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution Responsible for the managing the schedule and budgeting Lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator Responsible for discipline representation in the Product Development Review Meeting (PDRM) discussed in Section 3.2 Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as required Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Bachelor's degree in engineering At least 8 years of relevant work experience Ability to travel internationally as projects require (up to /- 25% for peak times) Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas: Nuclear systems design Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design NSSS components design and analyses Piping layout and/or analysis Licensing Plant layout integration Digital Design (configuration control) Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering Electrical design Effective oral and written communications Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas Nice-to-Have: Experience on AP1000 or AP300 preferred Why Westinghouse?
