Job Description A growing company specializing in the design and development of industrial equipment is seeking a skilled Control Panel Designer with expertise in CAD or electrical design. This role involves developing detailed control panel designs for a range of projects, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and CAD software, and be capable of producing high-quality, precise work. Key Responsibilities: Create detailed CAD designs and electrical schematics for control panels based on project specifications. Develop wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, functional designs. Perform design revisions and updates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations. Provide technical support for installation and commissioning teams. Maintain documentation of design processes and ensure traceability. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues in a timely manner. Stay updated on advancements in CAD software and electrical design best practices. Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, CAD Design, or related field. 3 years of experience in control panel design or related electrical design work. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN. Strong understanding of electrical components, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience with industry standards such as UL508A, NEC, and IEC. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
