Description: Edmonds College seeks an experienced professional to serve as Director of TRIO Student Support Services (SSS). TRIO is a U.S. Department of Education grant-funded program providing comprehensive academic support services to college students who are first-generation college, low income, and/or have a disability. The mission of TRIO SSS is to increase retention, graduation, and transfer rates for participants. The Director will lead the development, implementation, administration, and activities of the program in accordance with federal regulations and grant objectives, while supervising full-time and part-time employees. This position is funded through August 31st, 2025, with a pending application for continuation of funding starting September 2025. will receive priority consideration. Responsibilities: Oversee the overall implementation of the TRIO SSS grant. Administer the program budget and authorize expenditures of federal funds in collaboration with the Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. Develop, direct, and evaluate the TRIO SSS program in accordance with USDOE rules and regulations. Design and implement TRIO SSS program policies and procedures. Prepare and maintain program data and reports as required by the USDOE. Lead and complete the Annual Performance Report (APR) with support from staff, in accordance with USDOE instructions. Plan and implement a recruitment and persistence plan with staff.
