Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing internal IT department. This individual will primarily engage in the design, deployment, and ongoing administration of new and existing IT Infrastructure systems. A key focus will be on supporting enterprise communication and collaboration products and services.

Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to join our growing internal IT department. This individual will primarily engage in the design, deployment, and ongoing administration of new and existing IT Infrastructure systems. A key focus will be on supporting enterprise communication and collaboration products and services.
Principal Accountabilities
- Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra ID.
- Microsoft Exchange hybrid deployment.
- Proofpoint E-mail Protection including end-user quarantine, mail firewall rules, and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Centralized administration of e-mail signatures.
- Microsoft Teams to include design and implementation of E-911, trusted IP addresses, call queues, attendants, and routing.
- Microsoft Azure Conditional Access Policies, Application Gateway, and Universal Printing.
- Perform a variety of standard administration duties related to common Microsoft Windows Server roles, distributed file servers, data backup/recovery, and e-discovery.
- Systems Auditing to track configuration changes to critical infrastructure.
- E-mail and data migration related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Evaluate IT Infrastructure systems to report on potential security risks, performance degradation, or changes to resource requirements.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and incident response.
- Resolve, escalate, or redirect service requests assigned to IT Infrastructure.
- Monitor ticketing system for new and unassigned activity.
- Respond to server and network monitoring alerts for disk space and service outages.
- Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or equivalent leading role
- Expert knowledge of the following:
- Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
- PowerShell or similar scripting language to automate or accelerate a variety of tasks
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, Certificate Authority, Exchange e-mail, and DFS Namespaces
- Microsoft Teams, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Data backup and disaster recovery
- Security best practices related to communication and authentication protocols
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Analyze and problem-solve, diagnose problems across multiple disciplines
- Plan for and support multiple concurrent projects, manage time effectively, keep manager and team informed of progress and challenges
- Accurately document and implement systems requirements and configurations
- Travel occasionally for firm and team meetings or system assessments and implementations
- Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software related to this field
- Knowledge of the following:
- Office 365 automation tools such as Adaxes
- Advanced TCP/IP networking
- VMware vSphere virtualization
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Experience working in an agile, team-oriented, collaborative environment
