Network/systems administrator

Salary: $75k-$105k

• The Systems Administrator will manage specific client IT environments including MS Exchange e-mail, file/print, Office 365, hardware and unique software, VMWare virtual servers, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software.
• Manage Microsoft Windows servers and VM (Hyper-V) Environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot moderately complex application server hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Knowledge of Azure and Office 365 administration
• Knowledge of Linux
• Proficient understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and DFS.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2016/Windows 7/10
• Support the installation, configuration, and operation of the Windows server environment and provide in-depth technical expertise.
• Experience with MS Exchange
• VPN troubleshooting
• Manage Microsoft patch deployments.
• Strong scripting knowledge a plus.
• Securing systems to (and maintaining compliance with) appropriate cybersecurity policies.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
• Perform system backups and recovery
• Resolving escalated Help Desk issues.
• Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recover
• Absolutely most have GREAT written and verbal skills and ability to keep excellent logs, inventory, notes and documentation!
