ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST -PERINATAL /WOMEN`S HEALTH

TJH Medical Services Perinatal at Flushing Hospital currently seeks experienced Ultrasound Techs with OB/GYN/Perinatal experience and ARDMS Certification with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital setting or Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice.

Duties:

• Perform High Risk OB and GYN ultrasound exams under the direction of the Perinatalogist and Ultrasound Supervisor including:
• Transvaginal ultrasound exams
• Basic Obstetrical ultrasound exams
• Targeted Obstetrical ultrasound exam
• Color and Pulsed Doppler flow.
• Assist physician with ultrasound guided procedures.
• Biophysical Profiles
• Monitor patient flow.
• Detailed Fetal Anatomy Ultrasound Exams
• Order necessary supplies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• Must be ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Certified and have passed the Obstetric Exam by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Nuchal Translucency Certification
• 2 years' experience preferred.
