Ultrasound Technologist - OBGYN -Women`s Health Clinic

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Queens NY, Medisys Women's Health clinic, has full-time opportunity for Ultrasound Tech with ARDMS in OB/GYN Certification and 1-2 years' experience in a hospital setting.

Duties:

• Perform High Risk OB and GYN ultrasound exams under the direction of the Perinatalogist and Ultrasound Supervisor including:
• Transvaginal ultrasound exams
• Basic Obstetrical ultrasound exams
• Targeted Obstetrical ultrasound exam
• Color and Pulsed Doppler flow
• Assist physician with invasive procedures
• Biophysical Profiles
• Monitor patient flow
• Order necessary supplies

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• must be RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Certified and have passed the Obstetric Exam by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Nuchal Translucency Certification
• 1-2 years' experience preferred
