Electrical Test engineer

Role : Electrical Test engineer

Location : Houston , TX

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. The candidate should have hands on experience with automated testing, interfacing with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, current and voltage meters using LabVIEW or python. Test engineer should be comfortable working with multiple test setups, analyze electrical data, troubleshoot, and develop test plan and document test procedures and data.
  1. The candidate should be able to develop LabVIEW or python test programs / code from scratch to monitor, evaluate, display and record waveforms and signals in real time and perform typical electronics testing signal analysis processing and analysis.
  2. Experience with design and analysis of analog electronics systems: active/passive component selection, gain signal conditioning, input/output filter design, closed-loop control, A/D and D/A, etc..
  3. Experience with developing circuitry schematic design and support PCB design.
  4. Well versed in resolving issues such as noise minimization, reflection, crosstalk, ground bounce, etc.
  5. Experience with Lab Measurement Equipment: network and impedance analyzers, scopes, etc.
  6. Experience with circuit simulators (LTSPICE, PSPICE, etc.) for modeling designs
  7. Experience with developing components qualification and subsystem verification/validation/reliability testing plans and lead execution of plans : including high temperature qualification/verification/validation/reliability.


Desired Skills:
  • experienced with electrical hardware and has performed qualification testing (pressure/temp/shock/vibe/etc) would be great for a Test role;
  • Experience 3-8 years
  1. Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or similar discipline, and 3+ years of related experience.
