Position Summary
Guggenheim Securities Information Management ("GSIM") is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its Business Engagement team.

Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, and IT teams, to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, and use cases to support the development and implementation of technology solutions.
- Ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications and that solutions align with business objectives.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide subject matter expertise on investment banking processes, products, and technology solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate requirements and project updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and support the implementation of new systems and enhancements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are managed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in investment banking technology.
- Strong understanding of investment banking products, processes, and technology solutions.
- Proven experience in requirements management, including gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with business process modeling and workflow analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the investment banking industry.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or related field is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the investment banking industry.
- Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office Tuesday - Thursday.
- Annual base salary between $150,000 and $175,000.
- The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
