GameDay Presentation Associate

The Houston SaberCats are a professional rugby team based in Houston that competes
in Major League Rugby, North America's premier professional rugby league.
We are looking for a passionate, talented and positive person who strives for
excellence, happiness and inspires the same in others. Be prepared to become an
integral part of our GameDay Presentation team as you will direct, communicate, and
work alongside our Director of Production at SaberCats Stadium. You will play a vital
role in delivering an exceptional fan experience at our matches.
The 2025 Schedule has yet to be released but will be updated as soon as we receive it.
Preseason will begin in January with Regular Season running from February until June.
Potential Playoff Matches will be in July.
Job Function (Duties & Responsibilities):
• Assist with various tasks on SaberCats Game Days.
• Assist in the development and training of programs and execution of events that
promote the club and enhance the fan experience.
• Assist with the direction of GameDay Staff.
• Assist with the recruiting, hiring, and training for Production Staff and GameDay
Staff.
• On-Field Liaison for all activation and presentation hits
• Point of Contact for National Anthem Singers, Bands, Special Guests and all
other performers that will perform at SaberCats Stadium.
• Assist with the organization and execution of game night activities
• Assist with researching, creating and implementing on-field games, skits, music
and theme night elements and provide updates frequently to the Director of
Production.
• Attend weekly entertainment meetings and provide new ideas each meeting, as
set forth by the Director of Production.
• Responsible for the oversight of contestant sign-ups and waiver system.
• Assist with script writing and preparation of game presentation items
• Assist with the execution of all on-field promotions during pre-game and halftime
• Promote a positive fan experience by interacting with our fans in all areas of the
stadium.

• Availability to work all home games and team events
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to perform well while under stressors or other circumstances
• Ability to think creatively and outside-the-box
• Must be a team player with strong leadership and communication skills
• Must be enthusiastic with a desire to work hard and have a positive "can-do"
attitude
• Ability to multi-task and handle responsibility
• Self- motivated and ability to take initiative
• Enthusiastic team player, shows enjoyment and interest in working
collaboratively
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Local Houston metro area candidates preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
Reports To: Director of Production
Wage: $15/hour
