VOAC supports veteran’s efforts to exit homelessness as well as provides a safe place for survivors of domestic violence. Wherever VOAC goes, it combines relationship-building, volunteers and quality services to lift and support our neighbor’s efforts to become self-sufficient and reach their full potential. **Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the Grants Manager is primarily responsible for developing and implementing grant seeking strategies that increase government grants revenue and ensure efficient and effective grant-funded programming across the organization. Also, models and pursues with vigor VOA Colorado’s three strategical critical virtues of HHS (Hungry, Humble, People Smart) Minimum Qualifications of Position · Bachelor’s Degree in related field · Minimum 5 years of experience in grant writing and reporting or administration · Demonstrated track record of successful five-and six-figure grant proposals · Experience with effective grant seeking tasks, funder cultivation and relationship management, program development, proposal development, grant management and reporting, and funder stewardship · Own transportation with valid driver’s license and state-mandated insurance Preferred Qualifications of Position · Experience and comfort with program evaluation standards and stewardship reports · Previous successful government grant seeking for human services related field · Previous creative or technical writing experience Knowledge and Skills · Intermediate to advanced understanding of donor management software or CRM systems · Experience in data management software, including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel · Presentation and public speaking skills Employee must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to safety or health of self or others.
