Your Role:
As the Branch Manager, you'll lead all aspects of branch operations, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Your leadership will drive the branch's success while supporting a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee branch operations, including safety, sanitation, inventory, merchandising, and customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through open communication and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (HACCP, OSHA), security measures, pest control, and shrink control policies.
- Analyze financial and operational reports, implementing actions to optimize performance.
- Develop and monitor service standards and operational goals to meet branch objectives.
- Maximize sales opportunities while maintaining budgetary guidelines.
- Manage hiring, training, and professional development of management-level staff.
- Supervise department and assistant branch managers, addressing employee relations matters as needed.
- Collaborate with Corporate Offices to ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Conduct inventory reviews to ensure accuracy and product availability.
What You Bring:
- Experience: At least 4 years of management experience in food service or grocery distribution.
- Operational Expertise: Proven track record in high-volume warehouse operations, including P&L, inventory control, merchandising, and payroll.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing assistant branch managers and department managers, with a focus on coaching and development.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Ability to build and sustain strong business relationships.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state and federal laws governing warehouse and business operations.
- Analytical Ability: Competence in interpreting reports and implementing actionable strategies.
