Job Description
Financial Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company goals, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and growth targets. Collaborate with executive leadership to create detailed annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Oversee all financial reporting, including analysis and variance tracking, ensuring accuracy and compliance with construction industry standards and regulations.
Construction Finance Expertise:
Maintain compliance with construction-specific financial practices such as job costing, WIP (Work in Progress) schedules, and revenue recognition. Provide insights into project costing and profitability to drive informed decision-making.
System & Process Development:
Establish and enhance financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
Cash Flow & Capital Management:
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial modeling to support sustainable growth and operational success.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Develop risk management policies and lead internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate financial risks.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team to support operational goals and foster professional development.

The Successful Applicant
Experience:
10+ years in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership or CFO role, preferably within the construction industry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of construction finance practices, including job costing, revenue recognition, and cash flow management.
Leadership & Adaptability:
Proven ability to lead teams through change, implement innovative solutions, and create a goal-oriented work environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
