WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for individuals to develop and maintain software for a SaaS platform to provide high-quality services to the health care industry. As a Junior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with your team, take ownership of discrete tasks within project guidelines, and help deliver performant and secure software that provides value to our customers.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Our junior engineers typically possess up to two years of experience in software development and have a solid background in object-oriented programming. You should feel comfortable working with a modern JavaScript framework and with a server-side programming language. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of or experience working with databases. You have strong problem-solving skills, can quickly learn new information, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and orchestration tools are a plus. As a junior engineer, you will have the opportunity to participate in design discussions, engage in code reviews, and pair program with fellow engineers.

Our current stack is primarily .NET based, C# backend, SQL, and a mix of ASP.NET MVC/Web Forms/Knockout/Vue comprise the front end. We are actively migrating our monolith and legacy services to be Azure Cloud hosted solutions, in some cases lifting and shifting, in others refactoring for cloud native using containers, functions, or other azure components. Alongside technical skills, personal development is encouraged and facilitated through ongoing mentorship, career support and promoting ownership.

NET HEALTH ENGINEERING HIGHLIGHTS SaaS provider in the healthcare space Current stack: ASP.NET/C#/SQL/MVC/Web Forms/Knockout/Vue Currently migrating all on prem projects to Azure cloud, using native components when possible Agile/scrum with a focus on experimenting, inspecting, and adapting We embrace innovation at all levels and encourage ownership RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Collaborate towards a positive and educational code review environment Complete projects of limited scope independently Design and write code that meets Net Health's requirements for quality, performance, and usefulness within project timelines Participate in code reviews Troubleshoot problems and provide options for possible solutions Willingness to learn and apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and domain-driven development Work in an Agile environment as a member of a cross-functional team that owns its own work from refinement through delivery and monitoring with the goal of delivering high quality solutions. Work on new feature development as well as maintenance projects and defect fixes Work with more experienced team members to ensure projects have accurate estimates, meet provided timelines, and fulfill requirements Work with your team to learn, understand, and follow best practices for continuous integration, test and release automation, quantifying and paying back technical debt QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Bachelor's degree. Minimum 0-2 years relevant experience; may have degree or equivalent. REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

Service-based software development (such as SaaS, Agile) Modern programming language (such as C#, ASP.Net, HTML, JavaScript, SQL)
