JOB OVERVIEW
The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison between the client and company. The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of products and services to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through project team members. The Project Manager will also be responsible for actively engaging in role and department wide process improvement.
Plans and executes internal operations/non-technical projects from initiation through delivery. Gathers required data from end users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to define deliverables. Focuses on execution and managing the functional elements of the project. Ensures that all targets and requirements are met and are completed on schedule and within budget. Works closely with various internal departments to ensure successful completion of projects. Keeps leadership informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects according to agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and KPIs. Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, design, and operations, to ensure alignment and collaboration. Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership. Drive effective decision-making and problem-solving within project teams to overcome obstacles and achieve project goals. Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and contractors involved in project delivery. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience or as a Project Manager, leading complex projects in a technology-driven environment. Experience managing projects related to cloud migration, platform modernization, or partner management is highly desirable. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach. Experience working with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies is a plus. Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and regulations is a plus. REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE
Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SmartSheet or equivalent project management software Jira or equivalent
