Job Description
The Cyber Instructor/Curriculum Developer position is a full-time, on-site position that will develop, instruct, validate, and maintain course material at the 319th Combat Training Squadron, Peterson SFB CO for the Officer Training Course (OTC).
Required Experience:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties:
Design and develop training with the following attributes:
Qualify on and conduct cyber-based classroom activities to include lessons, exercises, hands-on-keyboard activities, and current Cyber updates while adhering to 319CTS instructions, security classification guides, and other guidance as identified in lesson plans.
Fully versed in LINUX OS
Fundamentals, administration, processes, services, command shells, networking, scripting, partitions, and surveying
Interface with internal and external Cyber agencies as required to update and maintain Cyber-based training materials for multiple 319CTS courses
Coordinate instructional activities with the contract task lead and government personnel
Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills
Experience Required:
Possess working knowledge and experience in developing academic materials consistent with Instructional System Design (ISD) principles
Experience in one or more of the following roles: Security Operations Center, USSF Mission Defense Teams, Cyber National Mission Force
Skilled communicator, and experienced platform instructor capable of reaching an academically diverse audience of military and government civilian to include senior leaders
Posses skills capable of teaching concepts of recon, initial access, persistence, inhibit response function, impair process control, execution, privilege escalation, defense evasion, credential access, discovery, lateral movement, collection, command and control, exfiltration, and impact skills.
Posses skills capable of teaching Network Operations, Cyber Security Fundamentals, and Mission Defense
Posses skills capable of teaching basic computer security skills, command line interface, and various cyber security tools
Possess working knowledge of capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of US and adversary space systems
Possess expert knowledge and experience with integrating space Cyber information into theater and space operations
Possess Cyber-related experience with mission planning, briefing, executing, and debriefing tactical space operations
Possess working knowledge of and experience with operational-level command and control constructs
Completion of Air Force Instructor Course preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility

Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple priorities, accurately meet deadlines, deliver quality results, present a professional demeanor and work well independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
Working knowledge of instructional design skills (ADDIE) and adult learning theories in all phases of instructional design, and ability to apply it to work assignments is preferred.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Required Experience
Education Required:
Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in relevant field preferred, or Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years work experience. Work experience within the space Cyber career field may be substituted for education requirement.
Certifications:
Security+ (Required)
GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) (Highly Preferred)
Pentest+ (Optional)
Cyber Analyst + (CySA) (Optional)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CIEH) (Optional)
Skills, including, but not limited to, using any of the following tools, capabilities:
NMAP
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools
Linux CLI, Powershell, Windows CLI
Metasploit
Kali Linux
Protocol Analyzers, Password Crackers, Vulnerability Assessment

Applicant must hold a TS//SCI clearance to be eligible.
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
