Overview:

Focus is on short-to mid-term strategies to achieve business results, which may require substantial development of new processes, standards or operational plans to achieve strategies.

Communication & Influence: Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors. Typically negotiates and compromises to influence internal and external parties to accept concepts, practices and approaches of the work area. Requires ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization. Frequently conducts briefings to senior leaders both within and outside of the job function.

Leadership & Talent Management: Manages a Family Group for a global LOB, a Function for a Region, or all operations within a country which includes multiple teams led by Directors and Managers. Responsible for developing mid-term plans on how to optimize his/her organization and the talent required to executive strategies for the job area. Typically, has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with Corporate Guidelines.

Required Knowledge & Experience: Requires advanced business knowledge, general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams. Typically has mastery within a specific technical field or broad expertise across multiple related disciplines. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and extensive prior relevant experience.

Job Summary The Vice President Aviation & Flight Operations leads and directs the Aviation & Flight Operations department, playing a critical role in its smooth operation. The role develops and implements strategies to achieve business results, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy. The Vice President Aviation & Flight Operations manages budgets and resources effectively, while championing safety and compliance standards. The role collaborates with stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement in aviation operations. Overall, this role plays a critical part in the smooth operation of the Aviation department. Responsibilities: Designs and implements strategic plans to optimize aviation and flight operations. Leads and manages a high-performing team, attracting top talent and providing guidance. Collaborates with stakeholders to coordinate and execute aviation operations. Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators to assess efficiency and identify improvements. Develops and implements safety protocols and compliance measures. Manages budgets and resources, allocating funds appropriately. Conducts audits and assessments to evaluate operational processes. Facilitates collaboration to drive innovation and improvement. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including, but not limited to, secondhand smoke and excessive noise.
