Job Details

The Security Solutions Engineer is responsible for estimating, designing, engineering, and programming high-tech security systems that keep facilities safe and secure. This role requires expertise in integrating various security solutions, including access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection, into a cohesive, automated system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Access Control: Design and program access control systems, from basic card access to advanced biometric and Bluetooth-enabled solutions, ensuring only authorized personnel can access facilities.
• Surveillance: Configure and integrate indoor/outdoor camera systems with smart lighting, providing comprehensive, real-time visual coverage and data analytics for facility monitoring.
• Intrusion Detection: Implement intrusion prevention measures, such as motion sensors and door/window contacts, with automated alerts to security call centers or local authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in security systems design, programming, and integration, including access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection.
• Proficiency with security system programming and configuration.
• Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, PoE).
• Experience with access control (card, biometric) and surveillance technologies.
