The IT Integration Project Manager will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of system integration-related projects. This includes ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives, timelines, and technical requirements. The Project Manager will manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to post-implementation, with a strong focus on system integration, data exchanges, and business process optimization. The role will involve collaborating with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of systems and successful deployment of integrated solutions. Responsibilities
Project Intake & Scope Definition:
Receive and evaluate integration project requests from business units, ensuring that technical requirements and integration points are clearly understood. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, business, third-party vendors) to define project goals, system integration requirements, and data flow specifications. Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for the implementation of integration solutions, including data mapping, system configuration, testing, and deployment activities. Establish and document technical requirements for system integrations, ensuring alignment with both internal systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and external partners (e.g., suppliers, vendors, cloud services). Identify key project milestones, budget requirements, and staffing needs to achieve successful project delivery. Team Coordination & Execution: Lead cross-functional project teams consisting of IT specialists, business analysts, and external partners to ensure effective integration solution deployment. Assign responsibilities for key project tasks such as system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live preparation. Oversee the configuration and testing of integrated systems, ensuring proper data flow, connectivity, and synchronization between systems (e.g., APIs, middleware, data pipelines). Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and track project risks, including integration challenges, data security issues, and vendor delays. Take ownership of resolving integration-related issues or escalate to higher management as necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Implement mitigation strategies to address risks related to system compatibility, data integrity, or technical failures. Quality Assurance & Deliverables: Evaluate project deliverables (e.g., system configurations, integration mappings, test results) to ensure they meet the defined technical specifications and business objectives. Perform end-to-end testing of integrated systems to validate data accuracy, connectivity, security, and compliance. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Communicate project status, timelines, and issues to both technical and business stakeholders through regular updates and meetings. Provide detailed project reports on progress, budget adherence, and resource utilization. Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational strategies and make recommendations for adjustments where necessary. Post-Implementation Support: Oversee the transition from development to operational support, ensuring that integrated systems and data exchanges are functioning correctly in production environments. Collaborate with IT support teams to provide troubleshooting and issue resolution for system integration failures, data synchronization issues, or technical errors. Facilitate training for internal teams and external partners on integrated systems and best practices. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization in integration workflows and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve partner relationships. Develop and maintain PMO tools, templates, and procedures specific to integration project management to ensure consistent and repeatable success in future projects.
Qualifications
